YEREVAN, December 5. /TASS/. Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan plans to discuss the gas price issue with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the meeting in St. Petersburg on December 6.

"We plan to discuss all the issues on our agenda, including the gas price issue. Regarding our expectations and what the price will be I cannot say anything now, our wishes and arguments are clear, all that is left to do is to agree those arguments and points with the Russian President," he told journalists on Wednesday.

Earlier Armenia’s authorities have repeatedly said that they were negotiating a reduction of prices for natural gas with the Russian side. Currently Armenia pays $150 per 1,000 cubic meters to Russia.

Natural gas is supplied to Armenia by Gazprom’s subsidiary Gazprom Armenia.

On December 6, a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council chaired by Russian President Vladimir Putin will be held in St. Petersburg. Kremlin Aide Yuri Ushakov said earlier that the issues of concerted policy on regulation of online markets, development of network technologies, formation of common markets of oil, gas and petroleum products would be discussed there.
