MOSCOW, December 3. /TASS/. Russia is ready to satisfy growing demands of Greece in terms of energy resources, Ambassador to Greece Andrei Maslov told TASS in an interview on Monday.

"The topic of energy has always been present in our economic relations and its value has not declined. This evidenced at the least by the fact that the Russian natural gas currently covers more than 65% of Hellenic needs," the Ambassador said.

"Russian deliveries of oil and oil products are also playing a highly important role. This successful cooperation is carried on the basis of long-term contracts in place. Russia is also ready to meet the growing demand of Athens for energy resources," the diplomat noted.
