Rosneft signs agreement on measures to stabilize Russian fuel market

According to the agreement, from January 1, growth of fuel prices should not exceed the average annual rate of inflation

MOSCOW, November 10. /TASS/. Russian oil company Rosneft has signed an agreement on measures to stabilize the Russian fuel market, company spokesman Mikhail Leontyev told reporters on Saturday.

"We were the first out of all oil companies to sign all the documents and send them to the government. It was on November 1," he said.

The Russian government and the largest oil companies agreed to freeze gasoline prices at the level of June until the end of this year starting from November 1. Price limits for each region are fixed in the minutes of the meeting.

According to the agreement, from January 1, growth of fuel prices should not exceed the average annual rate of inflation.

Rosneft, Gazprom, Surgutneftegaz, Russneft, Gazprom Neft, New Stream, Neftegaz Holding, Lukoil, TAIF-NK and Tatneft are included in the agreements.
