The forum will be held April 17-21, 2019

MOSCOW, November 9. /TASS/. Organizers of the fifth Yalta International Economic Forum, set to be held in Crimea on April 17-21, 2019, have formulated its main theme as "World, Russia, Crimea - a new global reality", co-chairman of the Yalta International Economic Forum organizing committee Andrei Nazarov stated on Friday.

"On April 17-21, the platform that we are used to calling the Yalta International Economic Forum will celebrate its first five-year anniversary. And the topic that we offer up for discussion is a topic that covers, in our opinion, basically the whole spectrum of interests to be discussed on this platform, and the issues that Russian and international participants - businessmen, officials, politicians - should discuss. The name is "World, Russia, Crimea - a new global reality," he said.

Nazarov reminded that in 2015, the first Yalta Forum dealt with the issues related to special economic zones. "In 2016, the main theme of the forum was "Transformation of Russia’s economy", in 2017 the forum’s name and theme were "World, Country, Human", and this year’s forum was held under the name "Global future. Future of Russia," he explained.

The forum’s organizer stated that the forum’s preliminary agenda includes over 60 business events and 40 specialized sections that will cover current issues of 30 economic sectors.

The fifth Yalta International Economic Forum will be held in Crimea on April 17-21, 2019. Over 3,000 participants from 100 countries will take part in the forum.
