Export of Russian vodka up 8.3% YOY to $99.5 mln in January-September 2018

Vodka export soared 31.6% in monthly terms to $17.6 mln in September 2018.

MOSCOW, November 8. /TASS/. The export of Russian vodka rose 8.3% year-on-year in money terms during January - September 2018 and totaled $99.5 mln, the Federal Customs Service said in a report on Thursday.

Vodka supplies in physical terms declined by 0.5% year-on-year to 1.48 bln decaliters in the reporting period, the Customs said.

At the same time, vodka export soared 31.6% in monthly terms to $17.6 mln in September 2018. Deliveries in physical terms rose 25.3% to 239.2 mln decaliters.

The volume of mineral water supplies to Russia, as well as carbonated drinks containing sugar, increased by 15.7% to around 34,300 tons
