Ten companies are ready to sign an agreement with the Russian Energy Ministry and the Federal Antimonopoly Service on price stabilization

BEIJING, November 7. /TASS/. Ten companies are ready to sign an agreement with the Russian Energy Ministry and the Federal Antimonopoly Service on price stabilization on the market of petroleum products, the cabinet of ministers said on Wednesday.

"Ten companies are on the list: Gazprom, Gazprom Neft, Lukoil, Rosneft, Russneft, Surgutneftegas, Tatneft, as well as Neftegazholding, New Stream and TAIF-NK," the cabinet said.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said earlier on Wednesday that he had signed a government decree, which approved the agreement between the authorities and oil companies to stabilize the situation on the fuel market, and instructed the Energy Ministry and the Federal Antimonopoly Service to implement it. "Based on the decree, the Energy Ministry and the Antimonopoly Service are charged with concluding an agreement on economic measures to stabilize and develop the domestic market of petroleum products with economic agents," he said.

Medvedev noted that a preliminary agreement between the authorities and oil companies already exists.
