Sberbank recognized as best bank in Central and Eastern Europe in innovations sphere

MOSCOW, August 13. /TASS/. Sberbank, the largest Russian bank, was recognized as the best in Central and East Europe in the sphere of innovations use in operations, press service of the financial institution told TASS on Monday, referring to organizers of the Global Finance magazine’s international award.

"We got an award in the nomination of the Most Innovative Bank," the press service said. Experts evaluate the proactive approach of financial institutions towards the use of advanced technologies and the latest approaches to customer service in this nomination.

Sberbank was also recognized as the winner in the Best Digital Marketing nomination, where the award is given to financial institutions with the most innovative and effective communication projects in the digital sphere, the press service said.

Sberbank has also become the top bank in the Best SMS Bank category for the fourth time already. "This nomination pays attention to functionality and convenience of the bank messaging service," the press service noted.

Winners of the Global Finance award are selected among financial institutions from more than 150 countries.
