MOSCOW, May 8. /TASS/. Russian telecom watchdog Roskomnadzor has unlocked six subnetworks of Google that were locked due to the ban of the Telegram messenger, the regulator’s press service reported.
"As part of a set of measures to enforce the court decision against Telegram, Roskomnadzor unlocked six Google subnetworks (more than 3.7 mln IP addresses). At the same time the IP addresses of Telegram, which are part of these subnetworks, are fully detected and locked," the report said.
The department added that the subnets were unlocked in order to ensure the correct operation of third-party Internet resources.
