Nord Stream 2 raises 2 bln euros from partners in total

MOSCOW, April 27. /TASS/. The total amount of funds raised by Nord Stream 2 AG [gas pipeline project operator - TASS] from partners reached 2 bln euros, department head of the Russian gas holding Gazprom Alexander Ivannikov said on Friday.

"The project vehicle raised extra 404 mln from European energy companies in March 2018. Hence, the total amount of raised funds reached 2 bln euros," Ivannikov said.

Germany and Finland already issued all the required permits to start construction, he said. The work is currently underway to obtain similar permits from Sweden, Denmark and Russia.
