Kremlin says only Putin can pass decision on ending air task force’s operation in Syria

The Kremlin will inform when Putin makes such a decision

MOSCOW, December 7. /TASS/. Only Russia’s Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Vladimir Putin can make a decision on ending the Russian air task force’s operation in Syria, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday.

Putin’s spokesman thus responded to a question about whether the rout of terrorists in the Syrian Arab Republic would end the Russian anti-terror operation in that country.

"Solely Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Vladimir Putin can make a decision on this score. And when he makes such a decision, we’ll inform you," the Kremlin spokesman said.
