MOSCOW, April 3. /TASS/. A delegation of Russia’s Airborne Forces will hold the first consultations in Nicaragua on holding joint exercises with the Central American country’s servicemen, Russia’s Defense Ministry said on Monday.
The Russian paratroopers traveled to Nicaragua’s capital Managua on Monday.
"During the six-day visit, the Russian military experts will hold a range of consultations with the Nicaraguan side on the participation of units of Russia’s Airborne Forces in the joint Russian-Nicaraguan tactical exercise on the territory of the Nicaraguan Republic," the ministry said in a statement.
The military experts of the two countries will agree on a timeframe for holding the drills, on their participants and the issues of comprehensive support.
