MOSCOW, March 7. /TASS/. Russia is testing a new guided long-range air defense missile system, which is expected to enter duty soon:
"We will see what progress has been achieved in testing a future air defense guided missile of a long range," Russia's Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said on the Rossiya-24 television news channel on Tuesday.
Speaking about the new long-range missile and the air defense missile and artillery system for frigates 22350, Shoigu said that "these two projects will allow to create weapons with unique combat capabilities."
"The Defense Ministry hopes that these weapons will be delivered to the armed forces soon," Shoigu said.
