Operation in Syria triggers international interest to Russian helicopters

Viktor Kladov, director of the international cooperation department of the Russian state corporation Rostec, said earlier that the successful use of Russian helicopters in Syria

ABU DHABI, February 19. /TASS/. Interest to Russian-made helicopters has increased considerably after they were used in the anti-terrorist operation in Syria, Andrei Boginsky, Director General of Russian Helicopters Co, said on Sunday.

"The operation of the Russian aerospace force in Syria has prompted foreign customers’ interest to Russian helicopters," he said on the sidelines of the IDEX 2017 international defense exhibition. "We see it here, at the exhibition. It can be said not only about helicopters but about other aircraft as well."

Viktor Kladov, director of the international cooperation department of the Russian state corporation Rostec, said earlier that the successful use of Russian helicopters in Syria triggered increased interest to them worldwide, including in countries of the Middle East.
