Official comments on possible purchase of Russian air defense systems

According to the chief of Russia’s federal service for military-technical cooperation Aleksandr Fomin, no specific talks on the purchase of Russian air defense systems by Turkey are underway

GORKI, December 6. /TASS/. No specific talks are underway on the possibility of providing air defense systems to Turkey, the chief of Russia’s federal service for military-technical cooperation, Aleksandr Fomin, told the media on Tuesday.

"No, no specific talks are underway for the time being," Fomin said in reply to a question.

"There’ve been no talks, let alone decisions on selling S-300s to Turkey," he said.
