Russia to introduce Syria operation experience into military higher schools’ curriculum

The Russian defense minister earlier gave instructions to take into account the Russian forces’ experience in Syria

MOSCOW, December 2. /TASS/. The experience of Russia’s anti-terror operation in Syria will be promptly introduced into the curriculum of Russian military higher schools, Defense Minister Army General Sergei Shoigu said at a conference call on Friday.

"A training and methodological conference titled: ‘Military Education at the Service of Fatherland’ elaborated approaches towards promptly introducing the combat experience gained by the Aerospace Force and the Navy in Syria into the educational process, and also towards implementing modern instruction technologies," the defense minister said.

According to the minister, the conference adopted a declaration defining the guidelines for the development of military education and personnel training until 2020.

The Russian defense minister earlier gave instructions to necessarily take into account the Russian forces’ experience in Syria in the process of servicemen’s individual combat training during the winter period.
