Russian helicopters service center to be established in Iran in 2-3 years — source

MOSCOW, November 17. /TASS/. A service center for maintenance of Russian helicopters plans to be set up in Iran’s territory in coming 24-36 months, a representative of Russian Helicopters company’s press service told TASS on Thursday.

"Such center is planned to be established in the nearest two-three years," the source said.

The authorized repair center will be created in Iran for the purpose of providing customers with high quality and prompt service maintenance. Mi-17 helicopter remains enjoying the highest demand in Iran. The country also operates almost the whole range of helicopters of this type: Mi-17, Mi-171, Mi-171E, Mi-8MTV, and Mi-17V-5.
