MOSCOW, October 30. /TASS/. Russian helicopter designers creating and modernizing new models of rotary-wing aircraft take into consideration the expertise accumulated during modern local conflicts, an official from the Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant said, aired by the Life Zvuk (Sound) radio station on Saturday.
"The Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant has accumulated huge experiences in offering a prompt response, including at the theaters of war operations, and applying aircraft technologies in some new conditions," Colonel Yevgeny Poluyanov said, reminding the listeners of the Afghanistan war when lots of technical innovations were introduced.
"Naturally, the experiences (of modern conflicts) will be taken into full consideration and will be implemented in the new models of helicopters, which we are going to receive," he said.
