MOSCOW, October 18. /TASS/. The 150th mechanized infantry division being created in Russia’s southern Rostov Region will start routine combat training on December 1, the press-service of the Southern Military District said.
Earlier, a Defense Ministry official told TASS the division would be manned by December. It was to start receiving weapons and vehicles in October.
"On December 1, 2016 the newly-created 150th division will start routine training. The division will consist of mechanized infantry, armor, artillery and air defense missile regiments and also communication, reconnaissance and logistic units. The T-90A main battle tanks and BMP-3 and BTR-80 armored vehicles will be the main component of the division’s fighting power.
