MOSCOW, October 6. /TASS/. A missile regiment of the Russian Eastern Military District stationed in the Jewish Autonomous Oblast was alarmed for snap checks, the district’s acting head of the press service Colonel Vadim Astafyev said on Thursday.

"The regiment’s personnel including a column of military equipment, with Iskander-M tactical missile systems among them, carried out a two-kilometer march to the Bidjansky training range," Astafyev said.
During the snap checks, representatives of a special commission will assess military and mobilization readiness of the missile regiment, the level of personnel’s military training and coordination between units. "During the week, servicemen will demonstrate individual skills in fire and tactical training; radiation, chemical and biological protection and other parts of military training," Astafyev noted.
He added that the whole personnel of the missile regiment will be involved in the snap checks, along with 100% of weapons, military and special equipment.
