MOSCOW, October 1. /TASS/. The number of contract servicemen in Russia’s Army on posts of warrant officers, sergeants and soldiers will total about 130,000 by the end of the year, Army Commander Col.Gen. Oleg Salyukov told journalists.
"The number of contract servicemen on posts of warrant officers, sergeants and soldiers in the Army will by the end of 2016 reach some 130,000 people. Since the start of the year, over 15,500 servicemen have been recruited and their number has exceeded 109,000 people, or 85.3% of the planned figures," Salyukov said.
