MOSCOW, September 12. /TASS/. Pakistan’s National Radio & Telecom Corporation (NRTC) plans to broaden military-technical cooperation with Russia in the sphere of radio technology, Izvestiya daily reported on Monday citing NRTC’s Project General Director Mohammed Masoud.
"We are interested in Russian technologies so that we can fill existing voids. At the Army-2016 (international forum), we were interested in surveillance systems, high-protection PCs and laptops, GPS and drone signal jammers, equipment for radio reconnaissance and control, covert information-gathering systems," the daily quoted Masoud as saying.
NRTC hopes to become the platform for promoting Russian technologies in Pakistan, he added.
The Army-2016 international military-technical forum was held on September 6-11. Over 1,000 companies took part in the event. Over 80 foreign delegation came to the forum, and most of them showed great interest for Russian weapons and equipment after dynamic demonstrations held daily at the Alabino training range in the Moscow Region.
