MOSCOW, July 27. /TASS/. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu will hold a meeting of the ministry collegium on Wednesday.
"Members of the collegium will consider the concept of transportation support in the Arctic and Kuril Islands’ areas," the ministry’s press service reported. "The meeting agenda also includes issues relating to the implementation of the Northern Fleet’s activity plan until 2020 and measures aimed at improving the fighting strength of the troops of the Southern Military District."
The collegium meeting will be attended by the command staff of the Russian Armed Forces, representatives of the state power bodies and the Public Council under the Russian Ministry of Defense.
