PSKOV, July 6. /TASS/. Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev has noted the high level of combat training and living conditions of the personnel of 76th Guards Air Assault Division of the Russian Airborne Forces. Patrushev’s press secretary Yevgeny Anoshin said on Wednesday that the visit to the division took place within the framework of a working trip of the Security Council chief to the Pskov region.
Anoshin said that Patrushev had familiarized himself with the progress of combat and special training of the troops, how the personnel master new weapons and equipment, the state of the military unit’s training base. "After the visit Nikolay Patrushev said during a conversation with the division’s command staff that he was satisfied with the high level of combat training and living conditions of the personnel", Anoshin said.
He added that the Russian Security Council secretary was accompanied during the visit by Presidential Envoy to the Northwestern Federal District Vladimir Bulavin and governor of the Pskov region Andrey Turchak.
