MOSCOW, June 20. /TASS/. Military personnel have localized the fire at the Ashuluk military test site near Astrakhan, the Defense Ministry said, adding that evacuation was unnecessary.
"Firefighters have localized the fire at the Ashuluk test site in the Astrakhan Region. Nobody was hurt. Evacuation of the personnel proved unnecessary," the Defense Ministry’s press-service said.
According to earlier reports, a rocket engine caught fire during routine work inside a warehouse of non-combat parts of missile targets. The Defense Ministry has dispatched a panel of inquiry to the scene of the incident.
