MOSCOW, June 16. /TASS/. The Russian military has handed over to Germany’s defense attache the coordinates of a sunken World War II U-boat, the Defense Ministry’s press-service has said.
"On June 15, 2016 at the initiative of the Russian Defense Ministry there was a meeting with Germany’s defense attache, Brigadier General Rainer Schwalb. Russian military experts handed over to the German side the details of the identified wreck site of the German submarine U-307, lost in the Barents Sea during World War II," the report says.
