Russia to have small reconnaissance UAV - source

MOSCOW, June 11. /TASS/. Russia will have a reconnaissance small jet-propelled unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), a source at the Russian defense industry told TASS on Saturday.

"The work on a reconnaissance small jet propelled UAV continues," the source said, adding the UAV will be able to cover several hundred kilometers, though preferred not to give any other details.

Last December, sources said about another project of an attack UAV, which could fly at the speed of up to 800km/h. Its payload is about 250 kilograms. A source told TASS then the tests "are to be completed soon.".
