MOSCOW, May 25. /TASS/. Negotiations on modernization of Soviet military aircraft equipment that is in service with the Hungarian army are underway, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Wednesday after talks with his Hungarian counterpart Peter Szijjarto.

According to him, the sides discuss the Soviet-made military planes and helicopters that Hungary wants to modernize and then disposed as it wishes.

"These negotiations are underway," the Russian foreign minister said. "I would not say that nothing is being done. On the contrary, very detailed consultations have been held on all these issues. Ways of settling this question have been outlined."
