MOSCOW, April 26 /TASS/. Russian Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov met Philippine’s Under Secretary of National Defense Natalio Cabili Ecarma on Tuesday to discuss promising areas of bilateral cooperation, including the training of military personnel for the Philippine armed forces at the Russian Defense Ministry institutions of high learning, the Russian Defense Ministry press service said.
Antonov said that the two sides had a potential for consecutive development of bilateral cooperation in military and military-technological spheres. "Ecarma, in turn, expressed interest and determination in strengthening and developing reciprocal contacts," the Russian Defense Ministry press service said in its report.
