Current issues of Russian-Uruguayan military and military technical cooperation were in focus of a meeting between Russian Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov and his Uruguayan counterpart Jorge Menedndez on the sidelines of the 5th Moscow Conference on International Security, the press service of the Russian defense ministry said on Tuesday.

"The sides confirmed mutual commitment to the development of dialogue on issues of global and regional security," the ministry said. "The sides reiterated mutual interest in further developing all-round cooperation between the two countries’ defense ministries.".
