MOSCOW, April 21. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday called to raise the quality of fulfillment of training and combat tasks and snap checks in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
"Your direct duty as commanders is to increase the quality of training and combat tasks fulfillment, practise issues of tactics, operational art and strategy during surprise inspections," Putin said.
"And of course train the personnel to perfectly wield military hardware and armaments," he said at a meeting with officers on the occasion of their appointment to senior positions.
"We will keep strengthening our Armed Forces, doing everything possible for their technical retooling, consecutively solving tasks that have been set in the new National Security Strategy," the head of state said.
