MOSCOW, March 11. /TASS/. More than 230 new and repaired jets and 158 helicopters were supplied to Russia’s Aerospace Forces in 2015, Deputy Defense Minister Yury Borisov reported to President Vladimir Putin on Friday.
"In 2015, industrial enterprises accepted and supplied to troops new and repaired specimens for the Aerospace Forces: more than 230 jets, 158 helicopters, 191 radar stations, four squadron sets of the S-400 air defense system, more than 35,000 air weapons, nine launch vehicles and spacecraft," Borisov listed during the day of military products acceptance.
Besides, seven launches of carrier rockets were made, and eight military spacecraft were orbited, the deputy defense minister added.
"All hardware and equipment passed tests and was received by operating organizations to equip and train personnel," Borisov said.
