Warplane crashes during training flight in Russia's south — defense ministry

The pilot was killed in the crash

MOSCOW, February 29. /TASS/. A Russian Su-25 warplane crashed on Monday in Russia’s southern Stavropol Territory while making a training flight, the pilot was killed in the crash, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry said.

According to the press service, the accident took place at 19:23 Moscow time. The plane was carrying no weapons and crashed in a non-populated area causing no damage.
