VLADIVOSTOK, January 27./TASS/. A group of Su-35s and Su-27sm fighter planes from the fighter air group of the Russian Eastern Military District, stationed in the Far Eastern Khabarovsk region, have performed flight tasks over the Sea of Japan and Sea of Okhotsk, a military district’s spokesman said on Wednesday.
Colonel Alexander Gordeyev said they had trained a task to detect and track imaginary air targets. The colonel did not specify how many planes had taken part in the exercise.
"The flights were made in accordance with the plan of combat training of pilots from the district’s air unit," he said.
