MOSCOW, January 22 /TASS/. There are no threats to Russia’s security despite the fact that the United States and NATO are building up military potential in Europe, Russia’s First Deputy Defense Minister Army General Valery Gerasimov said on Friday.

"There are no threats to Russian security. At the same time, we are calling attention to the fact that the United States and NATO continue using anti-terrorist rhetoric for building up the army units in Europe where the US air defense missile system is also being deployed," Gerasimov said in an interview aired by the Rossiya 24 television news channel.
