MOSCOW, December 10. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin is due to define major tasks of the country’s defense ministry for the next year on Friday, the Kremlin press service has said.
"Putin will take part in an annual extended board of the Russian Defense Ministry on December 11," the statement said.
The meeting, to be held at the Moscow-based National Defense Management Center, will sum up the activities of the army in 2015.
"The supreme commander-in-chief will define the key tasks of military building and the major areas of activity of the defense ministry for the coming year," the Kremlin said.
The meeting of the board will be attended by members of Russia’s Security Council, the parliament and government leaders, the commanders of military districts, formations and units of the Russian Armed Forces.
