The newest missile ships will soon join the Black Sea Fleet’s missile boat group

MOSCOW, November 18. /TASS/. Russia’s advanced small missile ships Serpukhov and Zelyony Dol have arrived at their permanent base in Sevastopol, Black Sea Fleet spokesman Vyacheslav Trukhachev said on Wednesday.

"The Black Sea Fleet’s newest missile ships Serpukhov and Zelyony Dol have arrived at their permanent base in Sevastopol today. They successfully completed their state trials the other day and performed a day-long voyage to the fleet’s main base," the spokesman said.

The newest missile ships will soon join the Black Sea Fleet’s missile boat group, he said.

The small missile ships Zelyony Dol and Serpukhov are the fourth and fifth ships of the Buyan-M modernized series and were built at the Zelyonodolsk Shipyard.

They feature increased displacement and are equipped with the modern Kalibr-NK long-range missile system.

October 7, the Caspian Flotilla ships delivered a massive strike on the IS objectives in Syria, using Kalibr NK shipborne cruise missiles.
