DUBAI, November 9. /TASS/. Russia and Saudi Arabia are not in talks over supplies of the tactical missile system Iskander, the head of the Rostec corporation, Sergey Chemezov has told the media on the sidelines of the Dubai Airshow-2015.
"There have been no talks with Saudi Arabia (over Iskander)," Chemezov said. "Negotiations are in progress over contracts for providing air defense systems."
"Our relations with that country have entered a period of renaissance. I do hope that these negotiations will produce contracts," Chemezov said.
He said that several defense products contracts $20 billion worth had been signed with Saudi Arabia earlier to be aborted for various political reasons.
"These days military-technical cooperation with that country is on the rise again," Chemezov said.
