MOSCOW, October 2. /TASS/. Russia is ready to promptly consider a request on deliveries of Sukhoi Su fighter jets to Venezuela if such request comes from the Venezuelan authorities, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with Venezuelan state television.

"As I have already said we have a stable and multi-dimensional military and technical cooperation," Lavrov said when asked by a journalist about a possible Russian reaction to a request from Caracas for fighter jets delivery, "There is a certain procedure for filing a request on the delivery of military products."

The Russian foreign minister said he was confident that if such request comes "it will be considered promptly and constructively."

"We need to receive a request from your government," Lavrov said.
