KALININGRAD, September 14. /TASS/. Around 20 warships, boats and support vessels have entered the Baltic Sea as part of the Russian-Belarusian exercise Union Shield-2015, the Baltic Fleet’s press service has said.
"In the sea, the Baltic Fleet ships will unite in several tactical forces and will stay ready to perform tasks on anti-submarine and anti-aircraft defence and countermine warfare," the statement said.
The exercise involves Stoykiy, Soobrazitelny and Boykiy corvettes, mine sweepers and small anti-submarine warfare corvettes, small missile carrier ships and missile boats, and also support vessels.
