Air defenses hit targets over Gulf of Finland

There are no casualties and destruction as a result of the incident

ST. PETERSBURG, March 2. /TASS/. Air defenses operated over the Lomonosov district in the Leningrad Region to destroy the aerial targets over the Gulf of Finland, Governor Alexander Drozdenko wrote on his Telegram channel.

"Air defenses went off over the Lomonosov district of the Leningrad Region. Air targets were hit over the Gulf of Finland," his post said.

There are no casualties and destruction as a result of the incident. St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov said that he was in contact with the command of the Leningrad Military District and the 6th Air Force and Air Defense Army. A taskforce is operating.
