"Between January 1 and October 25 of this year, almost 385,000 people joint the military service in the interest of the joint group of forces. Of those, 305,000 are voluntary servicemen and about 80,000 are volunteers," Medvedev said.

According to Medvedev, the recruitment rate has increased significantly.

"Every day, over 1,600 people sign contracts with the Armed Forces," the official noted.

He underscored that every serviceman deserves maximum respect.
