MOSCOW, April 23. /TASS/. Starting from April 24 the central Moscow streets will be cordoned off amid the preparations for the Victory Day Red Square parade on May 9, the Moscow traffic service reported in Tuesday.
"On April 24 at 21:00 the following streets will be cordoned off until the end of the rehearsal in relation to the preparations for the May 9 military parade on the Red Square: Mokhovaya Street from Vozdvishenka Street to Tverskaya Street, Tverskaya Street, Okhotnyy Ryad Street, Teatral’nyy Proyezd from Bol’shaya Dmitrovka Street to Petrovka Street. On April 24, Il’inka and Varvarka Streets as well as Bol'shoy Moskvoretskiy Bridge will be fully cordoned off from 22:00 until the end of the event," the statement reads.
Moreover, on April 29 and May 4 from 17:30, as well as on May 7 from 05:30 until the end of the events the following will be closed for traffic: Tverskaya, Mokhovaya, Okhotnyy Ryad, Teatral’nyy Proyezd Streets, the Novaya and Staraya Squares, Moskvoretskaya, Kremlevskaya, Goncharnaya, Kotel’nicheskaya, Ust'inskaya, Sofiyskaya, Raushskaya, Sadovnicheskaya Embankments, Bol'shoy Moskvoretskiy Bridge, Malyy Moskvoretskiy Bridge, Chugunnyi Bridge, Bolotanaya Street, Bridge and Embankment, Faleyevskiy Alley, Balchug Street, Lubochnyy Alley, 1-y and 2-y Raushskiy Alleys, Solyanka Street, Bolshoy Putinkovskiy Alley.
Also, on April 29 and May 4 from 17:30 to 20:00, as well as on May 7 and 9 from 05:30 to 08:00 the following will be cordoned off: Nizhniye Mnevniki, Mnevniki, Krasnaya Presnya, Barrikadnaya, Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya, Tversakaya Streets, Zvenigorodskoye Highway and Triumfalnaya Square. The same days from 22:30 and on May 7 from 10:00 until the end of the event the traffic in the following locations will be closed off: Bolshoy Kamennyy Bridge, Borovitskaya Square, Vozdvishenka, New Arbat, Barrikadnaya, Krasnaya Presnya, Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya, Bol'shaya Sadovaya, 1-ya and 2-ya Brestskaya Streets, Novinskiy Boulevard, Triumfalnaya Square, Zvenigorodskoye Highway, Nizhniye Mnevniki, Mnevniki Streets.
