MOSCOW, March 19. /TASS/. Servicemen from the Southern Military District destroyed the "enemy’s armored vehicles with guided missiles from the Shturm-S antitank missile systems in the Rostov Region, the district’s press service reported on Tuesday.

"The anti-tank units of the artillery regiment of the combined arms-army of the Southern Military District, which is stationed in the Rostov Region, destroyed the armored vehicles of the hypothetical enemy with guided missiles from the Shturm-S anti-tank missile systems during tactical drills for motor-rifle units," according to the report that was spread by the press service.

Ataka guided missiles hit targets located at a distance of up to three kilometers. A total of more than 1,000 servicemen (artillerymen and motor riflemen) and more than 150 military vehicles, including BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles and BTR-82A armored personnel carriers, were involved in the drills.
