Over 3,500 servicemen start drills at 30 training ranges in Russia's south

More than 750 units of military equipment are used in the drills, including Pantsir-S1 and Tunguska missile systems

ROSTOV-ON-DON, March 2. /TASS/. Over 3,500 servicemen from units of the Southern Military District have started field drills at 30 training ranges, the district's press service said on Saturday.

"Over 3,500 servicemen from air defense units have started tactical drills at 30 training ranges," the press service said.

Training ranges used in the drills are located in Russia's Rostov, Volgograd, Astrakhan, Krasnodar, Stavropol, Crimea, Ingushetia, Dagestan, Chechnya, North Ossetia and Adygeya regions.

More than 750 units of military equipment are used in the drills, including Pantsir-S1 and Tunguska missile systems, Shilka weapon systems, Triumpf S-400, Tor-M, Buk-M3, Osa and Strela-10M missile systems.
