Army-2018 defense exposition in Moscow Region to house more than 26,000 exhibits

Foreign countries will bring a great number of military product models to the exhibition

MOSCOW, August 20. /TASS/. More than 26,000 exhibits will be displayed at the international military-technical forum Army-2018, which will run from August 21 to 26 in the Moscow Region’s Kubinka, said Director of the Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Dmitry Shugayev.

"A total of more than 26,000 exhibits will be displayed at the exhibition. This figure is impressive even regarding the international scale of our exhibition," he told the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper in an interview published on Monday.

Shugayev specified that foreign countries will bring a great number of military product models to the exhibition. "The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation already issued licenses to house more than 500 models from Belarus, India, China, Pakistan, Turkey and some others. Eight countries will present their national pavilions with massive and, I’m confident, spectacular expositions of military equipment produced in their countries," he noted.

According to Shugayev, Army-2018 is expected to receive about 90 official delegations from other countries and feature more than 150 events as part of its scientific business program.
