Over 3,000 troops take part in tactical exercises in Russia’s Far East

Artillery and UAV crews, which determined the location of the simulated enemy and transferred data to artillerymen for the destruction of the training targets, took part in the mock combat

MOSCOW, August 13. /TASS/. More than 3,000 military servicemen of Russia’s Eastern Military District have taken part in the tactical exercises in Russia’s Far Eastern Sakhalin Region. Among the participants were motorized rifle units and the air group of the Eastern Military District, its press service reported on Monday.

"More than 3,000 military servicemen and about 800 units of weapons and military equipment, including five Mil Mi-8 helicopters, took part in the active phase of the exercises," the press service said.
