Over 750 pieces of new weaponry to be demonstrated during Army-2018 forum in Russia

This year’s forum will feature an unprecedented number of military weaponry and hardware to be showcased

MOSCOW, July 12. /TASS/. Russia’s military districts and the Northern Fleet will demonstrate more than 750 pieces of new weaponry and military hardware during the Army-2018 international forum, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday.

"During the Army-2018 international defense forum, more than 750 units of advanced weaponry, military and special-purpose equipment will take part in static and dynamic demonstrations in the military districts and the Northern Fleet," the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

This year’s forum will feature an unprecedented number of military weaponry and hardware to be showcased. The figure stood at 500 in 2016 and at 650 last year.

Along with the military districts and the Northern Fleet, the forum’s dynamic demonstrations will take place at the Alabino training range, Kubinka airfield and the Patriot Park near Moscow.
