Arms seized from militants shown in Syria’s Douma

DUMAYR /Syria/, April 21. /TASS/. More than 10,000 units of arms and ammunition seized from fighters of the Jaysh al-Islam group have been shown to reporters in Dumayr on Saturday, a TASS correspondent reported from the scene.

Among the weapons were firearms, mortars, TOW anti-tank missile systems and about 20 tanks. Most of the weapons were manufactured in NATO states. Besides, there were mortars and improvised grenades, as well as shells for improvised mortar guns firing gas cylinders stuffed with explosives. Tanks are operative.
