2020 Russian Seasons in France to be 'breathtaking', says minister

Culture Minister Vladimir Medinsky recalled that the program will include a new, "second grand exhibition of masterpieces of impressionism from Russian museums"

PARIS, March 29. /TASS/. A new series of cultural events within the Russian Seasons in France in 2020 will be breathtaking, Russian Culture Minister Vladimir Medinsky told journalists on Friday during a working visit to Paris.

"The Russian Seasons in France will be breathtaking, as there will be not just the Bolshoi Theater and the Mariinsky Theater, not just Igor Moiseyev [State Academic] Ensemble [of Popular Dance], but dramatic theaters and festivals as well," he noted.

The program will include a new, "second grand exhibition of masterpieces of impressionism from Russian museums," he said. "We will open [it] with the Louis Vuitton Foundation next year as part of the Russian Seasons," Medinsky added.
