Crimea should keep revenues and taxes for five years - MP

MOSCOW, March 18. /ITAR-TASS/. Crimea should be a free economc zone retaining all revenues and taxes for the first five years of its new independence, said Sergei Mironov, leader of the political party Just Russia.

“It would be only correct if we use in Crimea the experience of free economic zones,” he told the State Duma’s plenary session on Tuesday.

As the peninsula was most likely to face complicated problems, “we may issue a special order allowing Crimea to retain during the first five years all its revenues and taxes to be used for the necessary new infrastructures,” he said. “Measures of the kind will be most reasonable now", he added.
